The Nigerian Navy Institute of Technology Sapele Delta State on 10 July 2026 has graduates 36 participants of Outboard Engine Maintenance Course and Refrigeration Air- Conditioning Maintenance Course 2026
During the graduation ceremony, the Special Guest of Honour, Commodore GU NWABUNIKE said the current challenges in the Nigerian creeks and  waterways has necessitated the acquisition of smaller water crafts for deployment to ensure sustained security against the activities of sea pirates, illegal bunkering and refining sites in the creeks and waterways.
Commodore GU NWABUNIKE further stressed that the course has introduce the graduands with the requisite knowledge and skills to carryout repairs and maintenance of engine for efficiency and sustained operations.
According to him, refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance course was designed to trained Nigerian Navy personnel for efficiency, safety, environmental compliance, compressor base equipment, preservation of food items and improve the life span of electronic equipment for sustained operations.
