Our Institute remains committed to excellence in education, training and research in support of national development and maritime security. We are proud to offer a balanced portfolio of professional and academic programmes designed to equip technical personnel with the practical skills, technical knowledge and leadership capabilities required in today’s demanding environment.

In furtherance of our quality assurance agenda, several of our technical programmes have been officially accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). This accreditation reaffirms our adherence to national standards, strengthens the value of our certificates and diplomas as well as enhances the career prospects of our graduates.

Capt. Sanjaya Silva has been decorated with RanaSuraPadakkama, for his act of gallantry and eight other operational and Service Medals. He is a recipient of FAC squadron pin, Surface Warfare badge and Commander of the Navy’s Commendation Badge with three stars. Capt Silva is married to Mrs. NadeekaLiyanawaduge and blessed with two sons, Sandaru (23), Senuja (4) and a daughter, Sanuki (11)

As Director of Studies and Head of Research & Development, I encourage continued collaboration between faculty, students, industry partners, and regulatory bodies to sustain academic rigour, foster innovation and advance research that addresses real-world challenges.
